AAVSO Mentor Program - Call for volunteers with CMOS photometry experience

Over the last couple of years we have witnessed a rapid transition from CCD to CMOS cameras.
Most of the new observers with recently purchased cameras now work with CMOS sensors and we haven't got used to that new reality yet.
On the September 26 webinar offered by the Instrumentation & Equipment AAVSO section, Ken Menzies already mentioned that there are plans of writing a CMOS observing manual, the same way we have CCD and DSLR manuals.

In the meantime, we are putting out a call for CMOS mentors to try to fill that void. We really hope that you can join the AAVSO Mentor Program and be able to help those new observers.
All it takes is some experience in CMOS photometry.

If you want to become a mentor and help your peers, this is an excellent opportunity.
Send us a message to: mentor@aavso.org.

If you want to be a mentor but your area of expertise is CCD, visual, DSLR, solar, spectroscopy or data-mining, you can reach to us too. There's always plenty of room for new dedicated volunteers :)
