Travis Searle joined the AAVSO Headquarters staff in May 2000. He currently serves as the organization's membership and administrative coordinator. He is also responsible for overseeing the production of the AAVSO's quarterly Newsletter. Travis also produces and co-hosts the AAVSO's "Restless Universe" podcast.

Originally from Rhode Island, Travis attended Emerson College in Boston where he studied radio and television broadcasting and occasionally remembered to go to class. After college, Travis spent time working in retail and then managed a small consulting business.

When not tending to AAVSO business, Travis enjoys writing, recording, and performing music with his band Spyside. When he finally grows up he wants to be the starting catcher for the Boston Red Sox.
