Sounds From the 90th Anniversary AAVSO Annual Meeting - Fall 2001

Below are MP3 recordings of some of the papers and presentations made at the 90th Anniversary AAVSO Annual Meeting.

Depending on the popularity of these recordings, we may have visual MPEG movies of some of these available in the near future.

Presentations

Papers

Many of these papers will be published in the JAAVSO.

MP3 Players

The AAVSO does not endorse any particular MP3 player. Most new Windows systems can play MP3s with the built-in Media Player. Most Apple machines can play MP3s using the built-in Quick Time player. Linux users can use mpg123, which is installed in most distributions by default. Below are some external players which are popular and frequently provide more features than players that come with your OS.

  • Freeamp: For Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP and Linux systems
  • iTunes: For Apple systems
