The 92nd Annual Meeting of the American Association of Variable Star Observers will be held at AAVSO Headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 25th, 2003. As was decided and announced by the Council at the October 2002 Annual Meeting, the AAVSO will hold only one full meeting each year during 2003 and 2004. This step was taken in an effort to cut operational costs and free up staff time.

The 2003 Annual Meeting will be an abbreviated meeting and will consist of only council and membership meetings - no invited speakers, scientific paper sessions, or field trips are scheduled. Attendees are invited to AAVSO Headquarters for the Saturday evening membership meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to inform attendees of the activities of the Association. Reports from the Secretary, Treasurer, Committee Chairs, and the Director will be presented. The AAVSO Council election results (both new council members and officers) will also be announced. A dinner buffet will be held at AAVSO HQ following the membership meeting.
