NASA's Swift mission is funding
travel grants to the HEA workshop for those who agree to take back what they
learn and share it with their local community. This can be in the form of
talks to your local amateur club, school, museum, library, etc. It also
includes articles written for newsletters, newspapers, magazines, etc. The
goal is to share this information with your community. Feel free to be
creative!
The travel grants will be awarded in the amounts of $450 and $800 and depends
on the applicant's proximity to the meeting site. Grants will begin to be
awarded as they come in until all grants have been distributed or March 11, 2005, whichever comes first.
Therefore we recommend that applications be submitted as early as possible.
Since the grant money comes from NASA, only residents of the USA are
eligible to apply.
Award recipients will be notified within 7 business days of their application.
The travel grant funds will be distributed to recipients at the meeting itself.
