Hello Meeting Registrants,

The meeting is quickly approaching! We are looking forward to seeing everyone here at AAVSO HQ for the 96th Annual Meeting.

Here are some maps showing the locations of restaurants near the AAVSO/Best Western and near the Hawthorn Suites. Paper copies of these maps will also be distributed at the meeting.

We ask that you do not park directly in front of AAVSO HQ. Here is a map that shows instructions on where to park.

Those with cars are strongly encouraged to drive them to meeting events to free up space on the van. Also, if you happen to pass other attendees in the lobby on your way to meeting activities feel free to offer them a ride! Carpooling will save time.

Those without cars should meet in the Hawthorn Suites Lobby at 7:45 pm on Thursday for a ride to the Reception at AAVSO HQ (begins at 8pm) and at 8:15 am on Friday for a ride to the Workshop (begins at 8:45.)

The Best Western is within walking distance so there will be no van service. The map of restaurants near the AAVSO/Best Western Tria shows the relative locations of these two buildings.

All authors requesting time to present a paper have been granted a time slot. An email will be sent to all authors later today advising them of the paper session schedule.
