Hello, The PC which runs the BSM-Hamren has got "stuck". I rebooted it many times, but the Windows 7 screen fails to completely come back. Only blue background, no icons.

It will not respond to keyboard input (CTRL_ALT_DEL doesn't work) nor mouse clicks (but the cursor moves around only). Does anyone suggest a way to fix this PC, or is it "dead"? If not, it will be a big problem to get a new PC loaded with all the correct software to interface with the hardware, we had a lot of difficulties getting it to work before :(

There's also a bunch of unprocessed images that need to be accessed. Attached is screen shot.

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike

When you say reboot, I assume you powered off completely, then powered on?

yes Gary, I powered completely off and on again several times, the same result. Interestingly, I had a "no-connection" issue with the CGEM mount which occured suddenly before the PC failure.

Ok, after letting it sit powered off several minutes it did come back! Scary whats going on with the PC, though.

I still have the problem the ACP cannot connect to the mount (which appeared suddenly a few days ago).
