The charts and sequences team has been busy over the last several months preparing new sequences for newly discovered objects and revised sequences intended to improve existing sequences. If you observe any of these objects please update your charts and/or sequences. A file in .xlsx format is attached below for your convenience.
AAVSO Newsletter 73, July 2017 is now available to members
The AAVSO Newsletter is a periodic, general forum that supports our various observing programs with lists of new targets, observing programming ideas, and general information that spans a wide area of interest. Guest writers contribute pieces that can range from current events to book reviews.
June 30, 2017: Dr. Octavi Fors (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and colleagues have requested AAVSO observers' assistance in following up on some targets from the Evryscope survey.

June 16, 2017: John Strachan (Queen Mary University of London) and Dr. Guillem Anglada-Escude (Queen Mary University of London) have requested AAVSO assistance in the monitoring of three M dwarf stars as part of the Red Dots campaign.
June 15, 2017: Drs. Frederick Walter (Stony Brook University) and Paul Kuin (University College London) and colleagues have requested AAVSO observers' assistance in obtaining photometry of Nova Oph 2017 (TCP J17394608-2457555) in support of Target-of-Opportunity observations with Swift UVOT that have been triggered and are scheduled for the next ten days (2017 June 16 - 25), and possibly longer.
June 8, 2017: Dr. Milena Ratajczak (University of Wrocław) has requested AAVSO observers' assistance in monitoring the very bright (V = 4.23) and very unusual eclipsing binary HD 148703 (HR 6143, N Sco) during its infrequent primary and secondary eclipses scheduled for 2017 June 11 and June 14, respectively.
