RARE OUTBURST OF 2137+48 V1251 CYGNI

We have been informed by G. Hurst (UK) and P. Schmeer (Germany) that the cataclysmic
variable 2137+48 V1251 Cygni is in outburst, as indicated by the following observations:

AAVSO Times of Maxima and Minima of Long Period Variables: Current data

These data consist of formally published data for the years 1900 to 2008, and data for the years 2009 through the present for a subset of these stars.  Data from 2009 to the present were those used for calculations of the AAVSO Bulletin through 2018, and are considered preliminary.  For a description of this data set, please click here.
