I've started observing variable stars after many years stargazing. Splitting doubles is fun, but doesn't last long with my 10x50s. Tracking a variable star makes me much more interested in getting out in the cold, because you never know what you may find :)

The 10 star tutorial was my first step, but now that I control the VSP better I wanted to print some charts for those stars. However, I cannot get a good chart for eta Aql or bet Lyr, for example. All the comparison stars in the tutorial seem to be now "suspected" variables, so their magnitude is not shown.

Could I get updated charts for the tutorial? Are the observations done with the charts in the tutorial valid to report?

Thanks in advance for helping this newbie!
