A light curve is a graph of brightness (usually in magnitude) vs. time (usually in Julian Date) of a variable star. The observations for these light curves come from the AAVSO International Database and cover over a hundred years of variable star observations. As of 2006, around 12.5 million observations are available for over 6,000 stars.
