  • Variable Star Links- The list of fellow variable star organizations and other astronomical sites of interest has returned.(10/12/98)
  • SU Gem Charts- The charts for 0607+27 SU GEM have been updated with corrected coordinates.(10/9/98)
  • Standard AAVSO Chart Conversion Gateway- With this new CGI script you can download a Standard AAVSO Chart in any of 28 supported graphic file formats. (10/7/98)

  • New Charts- New charts for KR & V392 AUR; SU GEM; CW, V492, CX, & SY MON; RZ LEO; RS UMA; R CAM; Z UMI; and DO HER are online along with updated charts for R EQU and X PEG. (9/18/98)
  • AAVSO Headquarters- Read about the AAVSO HQ with history, maps, & satellite photographs. We also added a description of the Harvard Designation for Variable Stars.(9/16/98)
  • Evaluated Data- The AAVSO Online Evaluated Data Archive for AND, AND, & APS is online. (9/14/98)
  • V Mag Deadline- Just one more week to get your V Mag experiment data submitted!. (9/14/98)
  • Software- The AAVSO software suite is back with Zap, TS, WWZ, and KSOLO ready for download. Also added b & d charts for 3C 273 VIR. (9/11/98)
  • Committees & Divisions- Read about the CCD, New Chart, Eclipsing Binary, Nova & Supernova Search, Photoelectric Photometry, Solar Division, and other committees of the AAVSO. (9/11/98)
  • Observations - Our Observation section has returned with info on various observing programs, report formats, software downloads, and more. (9/3/98)
  • Cambridge Bed & Breakfasts - Added a list of Bed & Breakfast facilities for those attending our fall meeting.(9/3/98)

  • Reduced Browser-Safe Charts - We've added the ability to print the charts directly from your browser.(8/27/98)
  • More Construction - The JD Calendar and AAVSO Membership Info has been placed back online along with an online registration form for our 98 Fall Meeting. (8/26/98)
  • AAVSO Bulletin #61 has been placed back online. It covers the maxima and minima of 561 long period variables through February of 1999. (8/25/98)
  • Standard AAVSO Charts Online - We are happy to announce that the Standard AAVSO Charts (approximately 1100) are now available online! An FTP site with access to the charts has also been established. FTP to charts.aavso.org and login anonymously. (8/21/98)
  • V Mag Experiment (1998) We have recently added reversed charts to the files available.(8/17/98)
  • Because of our recent system difficulties we have decided that instead of restoring our former web site we will begin placing online our new site. Stay tuned as it grows over the coming weeks!(8/21/98)
