• "Amateur Science--Strong Tradition, Bright Future"- The journal Science has printed an article reflecting on the strengths of amateur scientists, including members of the AAVSO.(4/22/99)

• HOA at NSTA Convention- The AAVSO presented the HOA curriculum at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conference in Boston. Look for photos to be online soon. (3/24/99)
• New Charts- The following standard charts are now available: AN UMA d&e scale plus reversed d&e; CW MON reversed b,e, and f.(3/24/99)
• Bulletin Update- Predictions by month have been added to Bulletin #62.(3/11/99)
• AAVSO Bulletin #62- Predicted maxima and minima for LPVs for 1999 plus stars in need of more observations. (3/5/99)
• Variable Star Of The Month- VY CMa introduces us to the phenomenon of MASERs.(3/1/99)

• Prelim Charts- The preliminary charts have been added to the CGI scripts to support online printing and file format conversion. Plus, the following charts were updated or added: SY Scl, SU Dor, TX Cam, & ST Psc.(2/17/99)
• HOA Activity: Zeta Gem - A complete observing activity and worksheet are available online for Zeta Geminorum in both HTML and PDF format as part of our HOA project.(2/16/99)
