[AAVSO-DIS] Iridium sattelite system

     If you'll read the press item that was cited earlier, the plan to
de-orbit the satellites was mentioned specifically as being in the works,
and was part of the coprporate plan as it were.
     I have noticed far fewer "iridium flares" in the last several months
than previously, and had wondered, given the financial condition of the
company, whether this meant that they weren't dealing with the pointing
of them any longer.  I presume that the orbits of the things had to be
tweaked pretty much continuously in order for the system to actually work.
