E. Berger (Princeton, OCIW), J. Kaluzny (CAMK), and I. Thompson (OCIW) report:

We observed the position of the possible TAROT transient near IC 4779 (GCN 
6769) with the Swope 40-inch telescope at Las Campanas Observatory starting on 
Sep 1.009 UT.  We obtained two 600-sec I-band images.  We do not detect any 
object at the position of the possible transient to a limit of I~21 mag.  An
