Hello all,
The recent GCN Circular 8209 looked interesting, so I thought I'd comment
even though it's probably not a GRB.
The Swift team have reported a possible burst coincident with the galactic
microquasar and high-mass x-ray binary V615 Cas. The star is a known
gamma ray source. Refer to GCNC 8209 for the details:
http://www.aavso.org/pipermail/aavso-hen/2008-September/007853.html
I don't see any recent observations of this star in our database, but we
have
a lot of data up through the beginning of this year. It might be
interesting to
monitor if you have room for it in your regular observing programs. It may
be doing interesting things in the gamma-ray and radio over the coming
days and weeks.
The J2000 coordinates are
RA: 02 40 31.666 , Dec +61 13 45.60
Charts may be plotted here:

Clear skies,
Matthew
