V. Chaplin (UAH) reports on behalf of the Fermi GBM Team:

"The Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) trigger 271446248 (trigcat  
090808739) at
17:44:09.60  UT on 8 August 2009, tentatively classified as a GRB,
is in fact not due to a GRB. This trigger is due to a Terrestrial  
Gamma-Ray Flash (TGF)."
