Dear colleagues,

I have updated my Var Her 04 webpage (www.cbabelgium.com) with my
(unfiltered) CCD observations of June 28/29 (2004) and July 01/02. During
the first night, the variable was still bright and displaying typical
superhumps of about 0.1 mag. By July 01/02, Var Her 04 had faded to mag
15.3, and the light curve now shows a hump-like feature, however with a much
larger amplitude (0.3 mag). I didn't attempt period analysis on the Jul
01/02 observations, because of the limited observation window.

Tonight is (very) clear over CBA Belgium Observatory, and I started a
session around 21h15m UT, which is expected to terminate around 02h20m UT. A
first inspection of the CCD images yields a 'stable' average unfiltered mag
of 15.3, meaning that the variable hasn't started echo-outbursting yet.

Best regards,
Tonny
