Dear colleagues,
I just started another unfiltered CCD time-series photometry session on LL
And at CBA Belgium Observatory, under clear skies (2004, Jun 13/14).
Compared to yesterday and previous nights, it appears that LL And now has
entered its rapid decline stage. The object is around mag 15.2 (unfiltered)
at June 14.02 UT.
Time-series observations are very much welcomed at this stage.
For those of you with a CCD, but interested only in 'single shots' : this is
an ideal target of opportunity to monitor over the next days. Try to get a
few CCD images and to determine the magnitude (filtered or unfiltered) of
the variable. Also watch out for possible rebrightenings of LL And. I'm
willing to do the photometry on your raw images (if you're not in a position
to do this yourself), provided you also have a flatfield and dark image
available.
Best regards,
Tonny
