Dear colleagues,
I started an unfiltered CCD observing session on Var Her 04 at 21h40m UT
(June 24, 2004), and expect to continue till about 02h05m UT, weather
permitting. Sky conditions are OK (strong wind, but very clear). This would
result in a 4.5 hours run, allowing to generate a sufficiently long light
curve for some detailed period analysis.
Please make sure to take over in the US, but the time it becomes twilight
over Belgium ;-)
Best regards,
Tonny

Subject: [Aavso-photometry] Var Her 04 light curves
I have posted a collection of light curves based on the recent data
submitted by COO, GKA, SGE and BKL along with some historical light curves
at our Var Her 04 page: http://www.aavso.org/news/her04.shtml
We need nice and long light curves. They should at least be twice the
superhump period so try for 3-hour minimum observing runs. That is needed
to look for tiny changes in its period. There is a very interesting time
in its light curve so any data is really appreciated. Also, do your best
to make your data as clean as possible. High time resolution isn't
required so feel free to take longer integrations for more accuracy.
Aaron
