 Good question, I sometimes forget we have lots of new members
participating in this campaign. I'm referring to a star on an AAVSO
chart, in this case the IL Aqr chart. You can download it here:

 Click on the e-scale chart and you'll see a star labelled "119". That
means that visually it looks like a star at magnitude 11.9.  For CCD
observers, there is a more accurate number in the corner to use for
your comparison photometry (11.909 +/- 0.042).
