Dear colleagues,

I'm currently doing unfiltered time-series photometry of Var79 Peg at CBA
Belgium Observatory using a 0.35-m f/6.3 SCT telescope and ST-7XME CCD
camera. The session started around 2005, Aug 17.85 UT, and the resulting
light curve now spans 0.17d. It shows low amplitude (0.1 mag at most)
modulations over small time periods (15-min intervals). However, there is no
sign of superhumps (yet), and the modulations are quite irregular (no stable
period found using various methods of Peranso).

I will continue tonight's session, but I do not recomend follow-up
photometry at this stage. It is probably better to give Var 79 Peg another
try in about 1 day or so, to see how the modulations have evolved. I will
publish the final light curve on my website www.cbabelgium.com in a couple
of hours.

Kind regards,
Tonny
