[Aavso-photometry] New Member - Scope Questions

Hi Mick,
I note your queries have already been addressed, but what's wrong with the 
BAA VSS?
We already have a very active CCD photometry programme (and co-operate 
very closely with the AAVSO on many issues).
And in further answer to your query about using a refractor have you not 
seen any of the outstanding work both Jeremy Shears and Richard Miles have 
done from the UK using refractors?
