Dear All,
I have continued observing SDSS J170213.26+322954.1 on past two nights. The outburst is continuing, but the star has faded about half a magnitude from the peak. Superhumps have decreased to weak 0.1 mags, but do still show on the light curve.
Light curve of last night:

Dear all,
I got two eclipses last night. In addition to the deeper eclipses reported earlier the star showed also 0.3 mag superhumps.
Period measurement with Peranso gives 0.1001 days for the orbital period and 0.1056 days for the superhumps.
I posted comparison of the two light curves on our web server:
http://nyrola.jklsirius.fi/ccd/2005/data1006/SDSSJ1702_comp.png
Tonight seem to be cloudy here so I hope some other observers are able to follow this very interesting target.
best regrds,
arto

I am observing this star again tonight. It is about the same brightness as last night, but the eclipses are now two mags deep as they were only 1.1 mag last night.
This live light curve is updating every 30 minutes or so while I am observing:
http://nyrola.jklsirius.fi/ccd/2005/data1006/SDSS1702_20051006C.png
A caution to anyone considering using this star from Henden photometry:
>> 17:02:24.71 +32:30:37.3 12.538 0.216 saturated?
I did find it is saturated and the true magnitude is about 0.35 mag brighter.

I started my observations tonight at 17:40 UT and got the first eclipse at 17:44 UT.
The star is bright about CV=14.7.
Quick period calculation from David's timings gives P=0.1000(86).
I have a 'live' preliminary light curve at the observatory web site:

Another eclipse occurred at 22:31UT. There was a slow rise and fall of about 0.6
magnitude between the eclipses. I have now lost it behind trees. I'll upload the
data soon.

David Boyd (BDG)
