Hi all,

Anyone who is helping us with the HMXB campaign should note that the run
"began" last night and continues through to the morning of May 3. Last
night was cloudy at the DAO and tonite seems a wash as well, so Gordon
has not been able to do any image - just practice & equipment fixing.
However, the campaign is more than just support for the spectra -
periods & characteristics of these 4 stars is yet to be determined, so
long time-series are needed often through the spectral-imaging time
period and beyond. Details of the campaign and location of reference
charts are given in AAVSO Alert Notice 348.

For those observing this HMXB star during the campaign: 2204+54 =
2206+543, two new variables in the field have been assigned HDs so you
can reduce and submit data on these stars at the same time.

2203+54 LSIII+5415 (this is GSC 3973-1316) 22 08 41.23 +54 33 18.7
2205+54 GSC3973169 (this is GSC 3973-1698) 22 07 18.15 +54 29 59.7

I will try to be on the chatline when we are imaging, but I'm uncertain
about what computer resources are available - so we'll see. I'll be
joining Gord tomorrow.

Thanks in advance to our 'team'.

rick (HUZ)
