Hello all,

This is just a friendly reminder about the HMXB campaign currently
underway. Dr. Gordon Sarty and Rick Huziak are currently onsite at
Dominion Astrophysical Observatory attempting to obtain spectroscopy of
several bright high-mass X-ray binaries. These might be good targets for
you if the various CVs that have gone off recently are too faint or too
southerly for you to reach. BVRI time-series CCD observations are
especially valuable, and these are all around 10th magnitude.
Observations during *and* after the end of their DAO observations (on May
3) are needed.

A page with Dr. Sarty's stars and charts is at this URL:

http://www.usask.ca/psychology/sarty/AAVSO_HMXB_Charts.html

The stars of particular interest now are marked "DAO spectroscopy star" on
that webpage. When you observe any of these stars, please post here to
aavso-photometry letting everyone know your target, filters, and
approximate start and end times.

As always, thanks for participating in this and other AAVSO campaigns!

Clear skies,

Matthew Templeton
