[Aavso-photometry] GJ 436 Mini Update and New Exoplanet Observing for Amateurs Online Book

 Hey, all. Not much to report re: GJ 436. I've communicated with Greg Laughlin and he says there is 
no news right now but requested that people keep observing. They need much more data and remember 
you can observe at any time, not just during suspected transits. 

 Also, Bruce Gary has published a book titled "Exoplanet Observing for Amateurs". It's available 
for free in PDF form at the following URL:

 Even though it is aimed at Exoplanet observing, the photometry sections of the book could be 
useful to anyone involved in variable star photometry.
