Hello Derek,

I made a wedge for my 12" LX200 GPS last year. Pictures can be seen at

http://www.hposoft.com/Astro/Mount.html

I made it out of 1/2" aluminum plate. It is designed for a permanent
mount an does not have an offset. I can give you details images of
the dimensions if you wish. Drop me a note and I will send more
detailed information I made.

Jeff

Does anyone know where I can find some dimensions for a wedge for a 12"
LX200?

The Primary question I have is the amount of offset for the tilt plate from
the centerline of the tripod.

I have acquired some material and wish to build my version of a wedge, so if
anyone knows of any website that contains blueprint style dimension
graphics, I would like to see them..

One more question, that I have always wanted to know... Has anyone ever put
a scale under each leg of the tripod to make sure the weighting is even??

Anywho.. I am not trying to reinvent the wheel, I just want my scope to fall
over when I mount the OTA to my homemade wedge..

Thanks for any info on this matter..

Derek
