Trupti,
It looks like 44 Boo is a W Uma type contact binary with a period of
0.2678159d and an amplitude of about .6 mag in V.
Starting at VSX: http://www.aavso.org/vsx/
And clicking on "Search" takes you to the search page. Entering "44 Boo"
clicking "Get Coordinates" and then clicking "Submit" gives you this
page: http://www.aavso.org/vsx/index.php?view=detail.top&oid=4511
For even more information, if you scroll down to the "Link-outs" section
and select "Simbad", you will be taken to this page:
http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-id?Ident=V*+i+Boo
If you go down to the references section and click "display", you will
get a list of links to 420 different works referencing 44 (i) Boo!
A couple of other pages I found:
http://www.solstation.com/stars2/44bootis.htm
http://ebola.eastern.edu/star_summary.php?star_id=94
Lather, rinse and repeat the above steps for Iota Boo. ;-)
Mike
P.S. Spoiler for Iota Boo.... it's a Delta Scuti type variable with a
period of ~40 minutes. http://www.konkoly.hu/cgi-bin/IBVS?4237
