[Aavso-photometry] AAVSO Council Nominations?

This message has also been posted to the general discussion group, but to insure complete coverage, I am posting it here also. My apologies to those subscribed to both groups (most of you).

As chair of the nominating committee, I am inviting interested members to express their interest in serving on the Council or to suggest other members who should be considered (with their approval). If you want to be considered, you will need to submit a short campaign statement soon.

If elected, you will need to attend two council meetings per year. If you aren't elected, at least you will have the benefit of getting your name and ideas out to the membership. Perhaps you will be sucessful the next time you run.
