Meade has a very restrictive price policy here in Europe.
If a dealer gives more rebate than the usual 3% cash discount
and Meade gets to know it, he will loose it Meade dealership.
So the Meade prices are everywhere at the practically same
high level.

An exclusive dealership (like the one of Baader for SBIG and
Celestron) seems to drive the prices to highest possible level
too.
