Yes.  Submit all your observations with normal JD dates (not HJD).
EB's, RR's, DSCT's, CV's, Be's, etc. are all good candidates for time
series.

No problem.  It's not uncommon to take 100's or even 1000's of
observations during CCD time-series in one night.  Submit them all and
include your error measurements and comp star(s).
