I Confess An Obsession With Variable Star Photometry
But Am Unable To Accomplish This Because I can’t See

You Allow Clear Sky Clock To Tease Me A Lot
But When I Look Heavenwards Tis All For Naught

If It’s A Lesson For Some That You Feel Must Be Taught
I Beg And Beseech You To Not Do It On My Clock

Let Your Wind And Your Storms That They So Very Much
Fear
Occur During Their Days So My Nights will remain Clear

It’s Not For A Lot That I Make This Simple Plea
But Only For A Night Or Two That I Might Again See
