Hello Tim,

Cute!

For many years I tried observing during June, July and August in
Phoenix. I no longer do much during those months. While there are a
lot of clear nights, when the observatory temperature is over 100 at
midnight, not only the equipment suffers, but even observing in
shorts with a fan blowing can become unbearable in a short time. Now
I just close things up and bring electronics inside until September.
I think even at Kitt Peak they pretty much give up during the summer
months particularly once the monsoon season sets in.

Just remember, better nights will be here soon. Now is the time for
planning, programming and getting ready.
