LOL, just 15 nights of clouds ? ;-)

I've had just 2 partially clear nights without clouds and cirrus
since begin of May ! AFAIR I had about 20 clear nights last
June (nearly as many this April when my scope was not
working properly; it was the only month with some clear
nights in 2007 up to now).

Currently the jet stream is leading one low pressure area after
the other to central Europe. On the Isles one has at least a few
clear hours in the rain breaks (there they have now century floods
in some areas), but not on the continent.
On the iberian penisula it was much better. In the south eastern
parts of Europe (Greece to Hungary) they have a heat wave with
temperatures above 45°C for a fortnight now.
Ask Arne how it was in Turkey.
