One of the problems with a lack of clear nights is the pressure one feels to make every night one for data collection. In the process, certain maintenance tasks suffer, namely: 1) Collimation 2) Mapping and pointing accuracy 3) Periodic Error Correction All of which may have consequences for photometric accuracy. Greg
