Hello everyone,

I wanted to send a brief update regarding the campaign request laid out in
Alert Notices 345/348.

Several epochs of radio observations with both the VLA and MERLIN were
made of SS Cygni during the current outburst, and it appears that some
very useful & interesting data have been obtained. I will let the team
members post on the science results, but they are quite excited by what
they have now.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this campaign -- as always, this
wouldn't have been possible without the work that you folks do. Well
done, and thanks!

The radio group have used most of the triggers for the project obtaining
observations during the SS Cyg outburst, and so there are only one or
perhaps two observations remaining in their time allocation. As stated in
Alert Notice 348, they are concentrating now on following the SS Cygni
outburst through decline, and (if possible) triggering on U Gem.
Continued observations of the SS Cyg outburst would be greatly
appreciated, as is close monitoring of U Gem until its next outburst. If
we receive especially good triggering data on any of the other eight stars
in their list, we will pass it along as well, but SS Cyg and U Gem are
their primary targets.

Clear skies, & thanks again!
