Hello everyone,

Thanks to everyone who caught U Gem on the rise.  I was informed by 
Christian Knigge that MERLIN was notified.  We are still waiting for word 
as to whether they obtained data, but hopefully they were able to observe 
it in good time.  Continued observations of U Gem throughout the duration 
of the current outburst are urgently requested.

As always, thanks for participating in our observing campaigns!  We're 
looking forward to some great science coming from them all.
