[Aavso-photometry] 2nd guide head ? Good idea ?

Hi Ian,
I use an ST8XE and 32cm Newtonian with a 160cm fl. I rarely have trouble
finding a suitable guide star, even with a V filter. But, the ST8XE has
twice the area of the ST7. Are you using a focal reducer with the LX200?
SBIG have a 300mm fl e-finder which is meant to guide well.
