Hello everyone,
I just wanted to send a quick note on the current HST campaign:
This morning, Bill Dillon reported an 11th magnitude object a few
arcminutes away from the location of SDSS091908 on November 12.5 UT. He
has since confirmed that this was an asteroid, (48) Doris.
Just in case anyone happened to be observing around that time and found
something "interesting" in the field, that may have been what you saw.
Thanks again to everyone participating in this observing campaign!
Clear skies,
Matthew

Aha! Looks like my mystery object was the asteroid (48) Doris, which was
two arcminutes north and an arcminute east of SDSS091908 when I shot it from
New Mexico.
Regards,
