[Aavso-photometry] Getting V, B and R mags of the comp stars on AAVSO charts

Steve,

Essentially, if the Variable Star Plotter (assuming
you have entered Coordinates or an acceptable name,
with a number in the CCD box) does not bring up any
sequence data byond the V filter then there is no
other color information available within the Data
Base. the CCD Box with the other color sequence
information will appear in the lower right hand corner
of the chart.

FYI, Once upon a time we had a webpage that listed all
the charts, old system, that had any sequence data
byond V:

www.aavso.org/observing/charts/ccd.shtml

But I am skeptical that it is current within the last
year and with the ACP may be rapidly going out of
date.

There is also a CCD Program to observe certain stars
with a BVRI sequence:

www.aavso.org/observing/programs/ccd/ccdobs.shtml

You can also post a request asking if anyone may have
some Sequence Data for your specific FOV byond the
AAVSO Data Base. There are some sequence values byone
V of other DB's out there also.

If you have a specific FOV you need the data for post
it... I would be happy to check a few DB's that I know
of for you as I am sure others would also.

There are a lot of sky surveys floating around that
may also have some data but most of them have
"suspect" photometric data in the pass bands of
interest.

Lastly, if you have a "special" need for sequence data
of a specific FOV, you can always ask Arne Henden if
he could put your FOV on the list for the Sonoita
Robotic Telescope... I suspect he has quite a backlog
at the moment.... plus Arne sometimes has some
sequence data tucked away that has not been delt with
for want of time... does not hurt to ask.

I also hope a few others join this discussion with
additional thoughts or for any omissions or errors
contained herein.
