[Aavso-photometry] Keeping track of CCD observations

Hey Bob:
I'm in much the same situation as you although I haven't yet submitted an
observation - however, since I've started on VSO I've been very impressed at
the support for VSO in AstroPlanner (http://www.ilangainc.com/astroplanner/)
which I've used previously for observing other objects - not only can you
make lists of stars you want to observe (or download them, such as the Easy
To Observelist I'm working on) but if you're internet connected at the scope
(which I am) you can even pull up the charts. If you're not connected to the
net at the telescope you can obviously print the charts out at as well. You
can record all your CCD observations right in the tool, and I believe you
can even submit measurements.
Cheap to register (I think the VSO capability is only for registered users)
and tons of capabilities above and beyond VSO. Recommended!!
Regards,
Gord
