I managed to squeeze in some observing between rain storms last night and I measured Z UMi at V=16.812 (I=14.191) which is some 0.4 mag brighter than 4 nights ago. It should be getting close to visual detectability soon. Jim Roe [ROE] Wentzville, Missouri
