[Aavso-photometry] csv files with excel - question

Hi,

the reason is that the Windows list separator is set differently on Yenal's
laptop and PC.
The list separator can be set via the control panel. In XP this can be done
as follows:

- open the "Regional Options" in the control panel
- select  "customize" button in the "Regional Options" tab
- enter the character in the "List separator" field which is used to
separate the fields in the "CSV" file.

An other possibility to split the data:
- open the file in excel
- select all entries
- in the "Data" menu select "Text to Columns"
- select "Delimited" and click next
- select the correct delimter or enter the delimeter used to separate the
fields in the "CSV" file
