Hi Yenal,
MaximDL produces a 2-column csv file output with JD and the magnitude.
You will need to insert a 3rd column with the error for each observation.
So, export your csv file to a spreadsheet in two columns.
Calculate your error for each observation by whatever means you you use
and place that number in the 3rd column for each entry.
Format JD column to 5 decimals and mag and error to 3 decimals.
Copy these columns and paste them into a text file program (I use
Notebook). If there is a <carriage return> at the end of the text file
(there usually is), you have to manually delete it, or webobs will
reject the file. So go the the last line in the text file and delete
everything past the last digit of the last error number. Save the file
to whatever file name you want.
Go into Webobs (assuming you have registered), choose "Submit
Observations via WebObs"
Go to CCD and PEP - NEW "Load a File", and follow instructions. Load
your txt file when it is called for.
Submit.
