[Aavso-photometry] FITS Keyword standard

Michael,

The point of my comment was that given what one finds on the Internet
these days, all from "professional" organizations or observatories, that
there does not seem to be a true consensus regarding keywords.

We can comment all day about how individual keywords are misused, which
just goes to show that there really is no consensus. I make no pretense
of establishing a convention, standard, or whatever you want to call it
nor of claiming that any specific software meets some standard since a
truly common standard seems to be a very nebulous and elusive thing.

You say that there is there is *one* standard and that Mira and IRAF are
the ones that meet that standard. If there is one, what is the URL where
this one standard is defined? Maybe a review of that site will help others
decide for themselves what's what among the standards that can find on
the Net.
