I'm not sure what you are asking here.  If I just take your ASAS
ID and enter it into VSX, I get the appropriate information for this
variable returned to me.  If you mean that there is no Harvard
Designation for this object, then you are correct.  The assignment
of a Harvard Designation involves human intervention, and is not
sufficiently robust to handle the influx of new variables that
is underway.  Therefore, the use of the HD as the primary key in
the database is being retired in favor of the AAVSO Unique Identifier
(AUID), something that can be created automatically.

We are in the process of modifying Webobs to accept data for almost
any known variable, and the first phase of that will be announced
around January 14.  The second phase, where you could submit data
on your ASAS variable, will require some VSX updates and so will
occur somewhat later.
