Hello any HMXB observers,

Tonite we're planning to do 1H 1936+541 (= AAVSO 1930+53 = LPH115) all
night. There is a high probability that Be HMXBs are beta Cep stars.
This means they have a radial pulsation mode with a period of 0.1 to 0.3
day that causes radial velocities (what we are measuring) to vary in
sync with the light curve. So if you can get on LPH115 and stay for a
while (especially if you can do multiple filters) we can see if there is
beta Cep behavior.

Neil will be on the chat line (I'll be in the dome with him) if you want
to ask any questions tonite.

Gord
