[Aavso-photometry] Toads Campaign nd HV Vir

I have just recently begun photometry so accept my apologies before hand if this is just newbie confusion and/or this is the wrong place to ask these questions.

I chose a number of TOADs from the Alert Notice 379 to sharpen my photometry skills. One was HV Vir. First the minor question: The table in the alert notice shows a RA of 13:21:03.1, the chart generator for HV Vir shows 13:21:3.1 (which i interpret as 13:21:30.1) Which is correct?

More confusing is the fact that on two nights running i find on my images a mag 14.6 star where the chart (080520) says HV Vir would be. After the first night I didn't report anything because I feel am in test mode. When the same star appeared after last nights run I assumed I would find something in recent observations. But CMP for May 24 shows a mag less than 17.1 in V (the same filter I was shooting thru) Can someone help me understand what my mistake(s) are? I can supply the images if that helps.

I am using a C14 and an ST8 (NABG)

Thanks

GE Sjoberg
