Hello,

In a new role, I am now a member of the Education and Public Outreach 
Committee of the Canadian Astronomical Society/Societe Canadienne 
D'Astronomie (CASCA). My objective as a member of the committee is to 
set up a kind of clearinghouse Canadian webpage where amateurs can go 
looking for professionals to collaborate with and vice versa. I am a 
complete novice at this kind of thing and invite any suggestions and 
ideas you have - including, especially, directions to where I can find 
more information about what has been done already between amateurs and 
professionals. I am aware of the AAVSO (of course), the CBA, IMO, ALPO 
but not that much else. Probably responding to me off this list is the best.
